Real life and random rambling...
Mar. 6th, 2018 03:43 pmphew, it's already march and time goes by so fast...I was hardly online the last weeks, because I had a lot of work, and to be honest, I
couldn't find any motivation, and this because of some main reasons:
1.) First of all I have the feeling DW is dying...or fandom is dying? I don't know....I don't write because of getting attention or a lot of comments, but to see that a story gets zero comments, doesn't effect my motivation positivly *lol* And I have two multi chapters with Aimiya, which seems to be the most unpopular pairing, so no motivation posting this, because yeah....you know? I have one JunBa done written, but I also fear that this won't be read, so yeah...and my silent hill needs to be finished, which will be finished, I promise. Maybe I need to force myself to post, but yeah, you know...the motivation...So I don't know...I didn't find the motivation to write, read or do something else on DW.
2.) I wrote a book some time ago, but it's not 100% finished, and now it seems that I get the chance to publish it, so that costs a lot - and I mean really A LOT - of time to be corrected and finished. I spend hours in rewriting and overthinking things and I still need to find an end for the first book....yeah, that takes a lot of time...
3.) I still have education periods in my office and accounting is really something I am sooooo slow at...so I need to focus on learning basic stuff concerning calculation and my main focus - VAT and VAt reefunds for foreign businesses not located in my country....it sounds difficult, and yeah, it is....*lol*
4.) I have my own apartment, which is owned by me, so no rent :) But from time to time I wish for something new and so I decided to rearrange my apartment....after three days of working and running around, I am finally done :D
5.) Books - yeah, I always loved reading and I lost my motivation for it when I stopped working in a bookstore, maybe because there were too many books I had to read, but now I slowly long for good books again, and I started reading in the evenings <3
6.) Amazon Prime and Netflix....nothing more to say.....
So, I guess that are the main reasons I wasn't online, and I am soooo far behind with posting and reading and writing....and so on...
I didn't follow fandom things either, I am just barely informed about the most important things in fandom, but I guess I didn't miss anything. :)
So this was my start of 2018 - I guess it's never getting boring here at my place *lol* How are you doing out there? Or is there no one online anymore? :)
How do you see things with posting and writing? Do you stop writing? Did you recognise differences in the fandom world?
Have a nice day,
Yours Yuki
Oh, and tell me, if I am ever going to post a new multi chapter, would you prefer JunBa or Aimiya? (I guess I know the answer already, but I still ask :))

Date: 2018-03-06 04:43 pm (UTC)Congratulations on your book being published (or about to be). Yeah!! It’s such an awesome achievement. I am so happy for you.
Netflix? What are you watching? I have wanted to watch Dirks Gently S2 and the Crowd for the past month but I don’t have a proper free quality time lately. Oh, and also Inspent most of my free quality time last month watching the Grand Tour on Prime, over and over again. I know, I know, three old men falling over, why bother, right? But they amuse me dearly, lol.
I am supposed to do (or be done with) my tax filing by now, but I am not yet. So, I am avoiding talking about tax, even though it’s AT, lol. Good luck and have fun. 😁
PS. I need Aimiya story and I promise to diligently comment on every posting for that story if you decide to post it instead of Junba. Would that be enough to convince you? Probably not, huh? LoL
PS2. I miss you, dear. *hugs*

Date: 2018-03-07 04:25 am (UTC)It's sad that Aimiya is so underrated, I don't know, I wrote them now, and they get close to JunBa for me in my ranking, because they are so funny but also cute together. And even sad things work between them, like they do with JunBa....
Don't know for sure if it's getting published, but I don't want to have a half done work when I get the answer 😂
I watch criminal minds at the moment 😁
I don't know the series you talked about 😖
Tax ... yeah....*lol* it's not that easy 😂😂😂
I will think of posting Aimiya, but I want to finish silent hill first. 😏 and then I am up for something new
*hugs* *cuddles* *loves* ❤❤❤

Date: 2018-03-06 09:28 pm (UTC)The community seems to have gone into a coma / lull since the beginning of the new year. And I must admit that I haven't been reading many fics, since the majority of them lately seem to be Ohmiya. I do, however, always leave some sort of comment on whatever I do read. I know what it is like to put a whole lot of work into something and then have no response.
I have been burnt quite a few times by reading ongoing fics which are never finished, and it seems that other people are too. I have received messages saying that people will read my chaptered fics once I have completed them. And I can fully understand where these people are coming from. There is nothing more frustrating as a reader to have unresolved plots.
I guess all we can do is keep writing and posting (our own pleasure in the act is the most important thing after all), and hope that things gradually improve. So don't lose hope just yet.
*hugs*

Date: 2018-03-07 04:18 am (UTC)For me it's definitely Sakumoto. Yeah, it's partly because of some of their shippers and partly because tbh I don't like Sho much.
And yeah, Ohmiya isn't on my top list either. And since there are hardly any Aiba stories out there, fandom is really uninteresting for me at the moment.
I know it's frustrating as reader to have unresolved stories, and I stopped postinc stories I haven't finished at all, but I had generally no motivation to go online.
I don't think about stopping, but since fandom is so quiet at the moment, I don't feel the fun about it, so yeah...I'll watch how this'll improve.
